Curada por Daniel Garza Usabiaga, 30 años en el mundo del arte. Una revisión de la Bienal FEMSA ofrece un análisis de la evolución de la Bienal a lo largo de los años y su consolidación como un referente tanto a nivel nacional como regional. Desde su origen en 1992, se ha transformado de un certamen tradicional de pintura y escultura a una plataforma central para el arte contemporáneo en México, abarcando expresiones como instalación, fotografía y video. En su proceso de evolución, ha adoptado un formato curatorial itinerante enfocado en promover el diálogo y la reflexión sobre temas contemporáneos y la interacción cultural.
La muestra está conformada por más de 80 obras de 54 artistas, incluyendo 10 de artistas invitados y el resto integradas a la Colección FEMSA mediante Premios de Adquisición, menciones honoríficas o por su destacado valor artístico. La curaduría se centra en la experimentación artística y el análisis crítico de las tendencias sociales y culturales, destacando la importancia de la innovación y el intercambio creativo. Este enfoque busca no solo presentar obras artísticas, sino también estimular un debate sobre el papel del arte en el entendimiento y la transformación de nuestro contexto actual.
Asimismo, la exposición retrospectiva brinda la oportunidad de apreciar las distintas transformaciones por las que ha atravesado la producción artística realizada en México desde la década de los noventa.

Curated by Daniel Garza Usabiaga, 30 years in the art world. A review of the FEMSA Biennial offers an analysis of the Biennial's evolution over the years and its consolidation as a national and regional reference. Since its origin in 1992, it has transformed from a traditional painting and sculpture event into a central platform for contemporary art in Mexico, encompassing expressions such as installation, photography and video. In its process of evolution, it has adopted an itinerant curatorial format focused on promoting dialogue and reflection on contemporary issues and cultural interaction.
The exhibition is made up of more than 80 works by 54 artists, including 10 by invited artists and the rest integrated into the FEMSA Collection through Acquisition Awards, honorable mentions or for their outstanding artistic value. The curatorship focuses on artistic experimentation and critical analysis of social and cultural trends, highlighting the importance of innovation and creative exchange. This approach seeks not only to present artistic works, but also to stimulate a debate on the role of art in the understanding and transformation of our current context.
The retrospective exhibition also provides an opportunity to appreciate the different transformations that artistic production in Mexico has undergone since the 1990s.
