La Fundación Ama Amoedo anunció los proyectos ganadores de las Becas Fundación Ama Amoedo en su 3° edición. Este año se seleccionaron un total de diez proyectos con el objetivo de brindar recursos y oportunidades para el fortalecimiento del ecosistema del arte latinoamericano. En las categorías de Artistas, Arte y Compromiso Social, Organizaciones y Publicaciones, cada becario recibirá un apoyo de monetario4 para el desarrollo y concreción de su propuesta.

El jurado estuvo compuesto por Marielsa Castro (Curadora en Jefe, Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín), José Roca (Curador Estrellita B. Brodsky of Latin American and Latin Diasporic Art, Hirshhorn Museum, Washington), Susanna V. Temkin (Curadora en Jefe Interina, El Museo del Barrio, Nueva York) y Verónica Flom (Directora, Fundación Ama Amoedo): “Decidimos destacar proyectos latinoamericanos, apoyando a artistas emergentes y reconociendo al mismo tiempo el trabajo de los ya consagrados. Esta selección refleja la diversidad de las prácticas artísticas en la región, y fomenta el crecimiento y el desarrollo tanto de los artistas como de las comunidades con las que colaboran. Confiamos en que a través de estos apoyos se llevarán a cabo proyectos importantes.”
Fundación Ama Amoedo is pleased to announce the grantees of the 3rd edition of the Fundación Ama Amoedo Grants.
