Nos complace anunciar "Crusade", de la artista mexicana Renata Petersen, ha sido adquirida por la destacada colección internacional The Dean Collection.
Fundada en 2014 por los iconos de la música y la cultura global Alicia Keys y Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean, esta colección privada se rige bajo la filosofía de "por el artista, para el artista, con la gente", resguardando y exhibiendo a nivel mundial (en museos como el Brooklyn Museum o el High Museum de Atlanta) obras de creadores contemporáneos que están expandiendo el canon del arte.
En su producción, Renata Petersen trabaja principalmente con la cerámica de alta temperatura y el vidrio soplado, soportes en los que plasma viñetas, iconografía pop y textos que examinan la cultura de masas, los sistemas de creencias y las dinámicas sociales actuales. La incorporación de "Crusade" a este acervo privado representa un paso significativo en la trayectoria de la artista y contribuye a la presencia de la producción contemporánea mexicana en colecciones internacionales.

Founded in 2014 by global music and cultural icons Alicia Keys and Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean, this prestigious private collection is guided by the philosophy “by the artist, for the artist, with the people,” and is dedicated to preserving and exhibiting worldwide (in museums such as the Brooklyn Museum and the High Museum of Art in Atlanta) works by contemporary artists who are expanding the art canon.
In her work, Renata Petersen primarily uses high-temperature ceramics and blown glass, mediums through which she depicts vignettes, pop iconography, and texts that analyze mass culture, belief systems, and current social dynamics.
